Some of the most well known Korean pop groups like Twice and BTS had their music videos removed temporarily on Youtube because an Indian company called "Airplex Software Private Limited" made false copyright claims on Jan.15. this lasted for quite some hours and around 7:59 a.m. EST reappeared!
This resulting in lots of fans getting upset, and having over 5,000 people sign a petition asking Youtube to ban the company that allegedly started all this. The companies could have easily lost any potential benefits like sales, and ad clicks, but because this was caught early on it did not result in any drastic changes or charges as we know of now.
